If you are looking for a barcode for your magazine or book, we recommend first getting an ISSN number (for magazines) or an ISBN number (for books). This number can then be easily transformed into a barcode number for your magazine or book - you will not need to buy a unique barcode number.

ISSN (International Standard Serial Number) & ISBN (International Standard Book Numbers) are unique numbers that are assigned to published books, magazines, serials & other similar products.

The ISBN Agency assigns ISBN numbers (for books) in Australia. There is a small charge for these numbers. Come back to us to purchase your barcode image once you have your ISBN number.

The Australian National Library assigns ISSN numbers (for magazines). Come back to us to purchase your barcode image once you have your ISSN number.

Once you have your ISBN or ISSN number, contact us or order below and we can provide the barcode number and barcode image to print on your magazine or book.
