ISBN Barcodes for Books
Do you have the ISBN number already?
Yes – If you have an ISBN number for your book, you can purchase the barcode images for your number below.
No – If you don’t have an ISBN number yet, you first need to get an ISBN number from the Australian ISBN Agency (there is a charge for these numbers). After they allocate the ISBN number, please come back here & purchase ISBN barcode images (the vertical black bars & white spaces).
Note: Crossword books and colouring-in books do not use ISBNs. They use standard retail barcodes (EAN-13 barcodes), which can be purchased here.
You will receive your ISBN barcode images straight away by email (in 5 different formats). You can choose which barcode format you prefer and insert the barcode picture into the design for the cover of your book before printing. If your book has already been printed, you can order sticky barcode labels for your ISBN & manually attach them to each book.
