What’s the difference between static and dynamic QR codes
We supply two types of QR codes: static and dynamic. Please watch our short video explainer showing the difference between static and dynamic QR codes.Â

It depends on how much data is encoded. If it is a short URL or small amount of data it can be smaller. If the QR code contains a lot of data it may need to be printed bigger. The official minimum size is 2cm by 2cm. Always test before you go to print.
Static codes will always scan to the URL encoded unless the URL is down. Dynamic QR codes will always scan as long as the two-yearly hosting fee is paid and the final URL is live.
