Nectar Fruits is Australia’s leading acai wholesaler, supplying cafés, juice bars, gyms and retail outlets nationwide. The company sources frozen acai pulp directly from ethically managed, wild-harvested palms in the Brazilian Amazon. These rainforest-friendly practices support biodiversity, prevent deforestation and benefit local communities.
The product range caters to diverse service requirements. The Acai Pure Machine Mix contains 68% acai pulp and delivers smooth, creamy soft-serve when used with dispensing machines. Scoopable blends—available in banana or guarana—contain 60% acai and work well both by the scoop and through machines. Soft Scoop Acai needs only a −18 °C freezer and requires no blending, simplifying service during peak periods. For businesses that prefer DIY blends, organic acai pulp sachets—pure or guarana—allow full control over taste and nutrition.
In addition to pulp, Nectar Fruits supplies commercial soft-serve machines. The single-barrel unit offers simple, reliable operation. The double-barrel “Turbo Toucan” model enables dual-flavour dispensing, boosting menu variety and efficiency. These machines improve service speed and can help increase revenue.

Nectar Fruits Story
The journey of Nectar Fruits began with founder Rubem Fontenele, who hails from the heart of the Amazon rainforest in Brazil. He spent his childhood tending to acai palms in his family’s backyard and harvesting fresh acai berries to make homemade acai bowls—a cherished tradition that continues today.
Rubem moved to Australia in 2004 to study English. He completed his MBA by 2008 and decided to settle permanently in his adopted homeland. In 2015, noticing increasing interest in acai products across Australia, he recognized a business opportunity. Committed to sharing his love for acai, he sold all his personal assets, founded Nectar Fruits, and imported his first small shipment of acai berries. In the early days, Rubem delivered orders directly from the boot of his car and stored the product in his bedroom freezer.
By 2024, Nectar Fruits had transformed into one of Australia’s most trusted suppliers of premium acai products and custom dispensing machines. The company proudly serves over 500 customers nationwide through a strong network of distributors. These humble beginnings remain central to its identity, shaping a focus on quality, exceptional customer service, and making acai accessible to businesses and individuals across Australia.
Nectar Fruits products have used EAN-13 barcodes and ITF-14 carton codes since 2016.
